Shelving

Acerax offer a choice of eight shelving products – ranging from budget options to bespoke solutions to meet a specific requirement. The type of shelving system you need will depend on where you plan to use it and the load capacity. For example, a retail outlet may require different types of shelving based on whether it’s to display products in store or hold large  quantities of stock in the warehouse.

Our shelving systems

Most of the shelving we provide is supplied as a starter bay with extensions to increase the overall run length. They start at 1770mm in height up to 3660mm with depths from 450mm to 1220mm. Varying weight capacities apply for each shelf level from 80kg to 300kg and within the overall bay area from 875kg to 2800kg.

Depending on the system you can choose to fit chipboard, MFC or steel decks. Shelf levels are adjustable within the bay on 25mm centres so you can increase the number of shelves for storing smaller items. You can also divide the bay vertically with either full height chipboard or steel dividers.

All our shelving can be modified for a variety of storage requirements, for example hanging garments and coils. We can also provide specific cut sizes for packaged archive shelving including boxes.

Expo 3 and 4 shelving systems

Expo 3 and 4 systems are available in a choice of finishes - solid steel, mesh or a combination of the two – applied on the side, back or fully cladded.

The Expo 4 system, which offers additional options such as integrated drawer units, double leaf doors and filing systems, is designed to allow you to build a multi-tier structure. Acerax can also supply the popular plastic storage boxes and trays to fit.
