Here are the answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked about shelving.


[Q] I have an enquiry about shelving how do I get more information from you.?

[A] Simply call us on 01952 641004 or 0203 697 8478 and we’ll do our best to help. We can also arrange to visit you at your premises to discuss your requirements in more detail.

[Q] How do I order products?

[A] You can either place an order online or by calling us if you require any advice or need further information.

[Q] Can you deliver to a residential address?

[A] Yes. However as your order will be delivered by a third-party courier someone will need to be present. Also it may be necessary to offload bulky goods within a 20 minute time slot.

[Q] Are you able to improve on the 5 day delivery period?

[A] Yes. In many instances, and for a small additional cost, the delivery time can be reduced although you’ll need to check this when placing your order.

[Q] What technical standards are in place for your shelving products?

[A] Most of the products we supply are covered by TUV/GS assurance or standards produced by FEMA or SEMA.

[Q] What types of shelf are available?

[A] There is a choice of chipboard, Melamine Finished Cover (MFC), steel or chrome.

[Q] What sort of applications can you supply shelving for?

[A] Acerax can supply shelving for a wide variety of applications in a diverse range of industries. Our systems can be used for anything from archive and tyre storage to coil racks and general goods as well as for two and three tier floors.

[Q] How long does it take to build the shelving, and do you provide an installation service?

[A] A full set of easy-to-follow instructions are included with your delivery which only require basic DIY skills. However if you would like to have your shelving installed we have a team of fitters who will be able to fit it for you.
